We provide an online credit card comparison service. To provide this service, we work with: HD Decisions – an Experian business; Madison CF UK Limited, trading as 118 118 Money, and Capital One (Europe) plc who provide pre-screening and eligibility checking services, along with a panel of authorised financial services firms.
We do not charge you a fee for using our service, but we do receive a commission from our panel of financial services firms if you are issued with a credit card as a result of using our service.
Whether or not your card provider of choice is able to issue you with a credit card is their responsibility and will depend on factors such as their assessment of your eligibility and credit worthiness by taking into account your credit history.
You are protected under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (as amended) (“CCA”), and each of the financial services firms on our panel are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

We carry out a soft credit check on you when you use our website to compare credit cards. It does not affect your credit score and will only be visible to you. Carrying out a soft search in this way enables us to check your identity and eligibility.

Credit checks and credit reference agencies can also help prevent fraudulent applications. When you make an application, you agree to your credit card provider(s) of choice using your personal information to prevent fraud and to verify your identity. This data may be used by a Credit Reference Agency or Fraud Agency and these agencies may keep a record of your information.
